Applications of the Maximator Air Amplifier

The Maximator air amplifier is designed to boost or increase the supply of air pressure either singly, or coupled with other air operated tools. The Maximator air amplifier is easy to install and operate, and is very cost effective.

How Maximator Air Amplifier Works

The air amplifier has a spool valve that functions as a 4-way directional control valve. The air supplied to this valve automatically cycles back and forth, and can be directed to the main air drive piston in an air drive cylinder. This moves the piston in the air amplifier. This air then flows into the air amplifier’s air pressure chamber. The air flows in through the inlet check valve(s) on the suction stroke of the piston, and flows out through the outlet check valve(s) during the discharge stroke.
All this creates a displacement of air through the valves, effectively providing the necessary air supply or pressure boost.

Maxpro Air Amplifier: Applications

The Maxpro air amplifier has several applications where it can boost or supply air pressure. These include:
  • Work benches
  • High pressure air cleaning
  • Pneumatic cylinders
  • Blow-off, cooling and drying
  • Boosting air for part removal and valve gates
  • Automation equipment for injection molding
Maximator air amplifiers are available in both single acting and double acting models. The single acting air amplifier displaces air once per cycle, while the double acting air amplifier displaces air with every stroke, i.e., twice per full cycle. The maxpro air amplifier can be used with applications where the required pressure ranges from 30 PSI to 4350 PSI.
