Applications of the Maximator Air Amplifier

The Maximator air amplifier is designed to boost or increase the supply of air pressure either singly, or coupled with other air operated tools. The Maximator air amplifier is easy to install and operate, and is very cost effective.

How Maximator Air Amplifier Works

The air amplifier has a spool valve that functions as a 4-way directional control valve. The air supplied to this valve automatically cycles back and forth, and can be directed to the main air drive piston in an air drive cylinder. This moves the piston in the air amplifier. This air then flows into the air amplifier’s air pressure chamber. The air flows in through the inlet check valve(s) on the suction stroke of the piston, and flows out through the outlet check valve(s) during the discharge stroke.

Air Amplifiers for Standard and Custom Applications

Air Amplifier

Sometimes, the most complex problems can be solved with a simple solution. A case in point is our customer who was facing difficulties in cleaning the nozzle of his industrial burner. Residual blockage was hindering the performance of the burner. The solution was simple: we suggested the use of a Maximator air amplifier to push out the impurities with the help of high pressure air. The pressure shocks were very effective in clearing the blocked nozzle.

HPT offers a variety of air amplifiers from Maximator to address many such unique problems. Depend on us for standard or custom-designed solutions. Our Technical Team will help you with innovative solutions for a variety of applications—from simple ones such as inflating tires to more complex tasks like blow off, cooling and drying systems. We stock the MPLV, SPLV and GPLV series of air amplifiers.
